Mark Burrell CV
Mark Burrell is an award-winning artist and an established painter. Born in Suffolk, he is an artist of visionary imagination, often painting his hometown, creating multiple stories, that are interwoven throughout his work. Mark is a member of Easterly Artists http://easterly.org.uk/mark-burrell/ and founding member of The North Sea Magical Realists https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_Sea_Magical_Realists
My work and I have appeared on television seven times, winning Anglia Televisions ‘First Prize’, on the program ‘Moving Art’ presented by George Melly, chosen by Bill Oddie and interviewed by the late Sister Wendy Beckett. In London, he has won the Lucy Morrison Memorial Prize at the Royal Overseas League and has had work exhibited in The House of Commons and the Royal Academy.
